The ex-lawyer for the former president has resigned as the chief federal prosecutor in the state. This decision was prompted by a judicial decision that invalidated her legal standing to occupy the role.

US Attorney General, the Attorney General, confirmed the prosecutor's departure on Monday. Bondi stated that the judicial decision made it "untenable" for her to effectively run her office.
