I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
